Hit That Gong collects nothing personal. That is the entire spirit of this policy, and everything below is only the detail.
Nothing personal. The app has no account, no sign-in, no profiles, and no advertising. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or identifiers, and we do not track you across apps or websites. There is no analytics SDK and no advertising identifier.
The "gongs struck worldwide" number is a communal tally. The app may send our counter service a single anonymous number — a batched count of strikes — so the global total is real. It contains no identifiers and no device information, and it cannot be connected to you.
Your progress lives on your device only: resonance counts, unlocked finishes, streaks, honors, engraving, and settings, plus a cache of which purchases you own so your finishes appear instantly on launch. These are held in the app's local settings, included in your device backups, and removed if you delete the app. We never see them.
All purchases are sold through Apple and processed entirely by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit; we never see or store your payment information. Apple's handling of the transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The app does not offer or require an account, so there is no account to create or delete, and no personal data held by us to remove. Deleting the app removes the locally-stored values described above.
Hit That Gong is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because it collects no personal data, it collects no personal data from children. There is no chat, no user-generated content, and no third-party advertising.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
